How does my fuel card account operate?
Each time you go to your chosen outlet, swipe your card like an ATM card. Your account is charged with the fuel purchase and your monthly or fortnightly total (depending on your stated preference) is paid by Direct Debit.
What can I use my fuel card account for?
Your FNF FuelSAVERS account can be used for petrol, diesel and oil at Mobil gas stations and truck stops depending on the account service you establish.

Can my card be used at all Mobil sites throughout New Zealand?
Your Mobilcard can be used at all Mobil service stations and truck stops however there are now some sites deemed as convenience sites where discounts do not apply and a further charge will be incurred. A list of these is posted to you with your Mobilcard.
What fees and charges are associated with my FNF FuelSAVERS account?
Minimal transaction fee of $0.005 per litre
Fee of $0.50 per transaction for non fuel purchases
One off $10 account establishment fee
Card fee of $6 per card
Is the discount off the pump price?
No, it is off the geographical/zone price which is set by the fuel companies. This price fluctuates as fuel prices change and can sometimes be 2 to 3 cents either side of the pump price.
What is the definition of the Zone price?
The Zone price is a geographical price set by the fuel companies and fluctuates as fuel prices change.
Is there a minimum monthly spend to qualify for an FNF FuelSAVERS account?
No.
Can I put limits on my cards?
Yes, you can put $ limits and product limits.
How long will it take to process my application?
Your application will be processed within 48 hours. On successful completion of your application, you will receive your fuelcard(s) between five and 10 days.
How will I be billed?
Your FNF FuelSAVERS account will be billed fortnightly or monthly, depending on your stated preference. You will be sent a tax invoice by post or email and your nominated bank account will be debited on the 20th day of the following month.
Do I have to pay by Direct Debit or can I pay by credit card or cheque?
All accounts are established with a Direct Debit payment facility. However, you can pay by cheque or internet banking as long as that payment is received at least two working days before the direct debit payment is processed.
If I intend to pay before my payment is due, do I still need to complete the direct debit form?
Yes, to keep your account an open authorised Direct Debit must be in place at all times.
Can I have more than one card?
Yes, you can have as many cards as you like.
What if my fuel card is lost or stolen?

What if I forget my PIN number?
You have three chances to enter your PIN before the card is locked for 24 hours. If this happens please call Far North Fuels on 0800 438383 to have a new number assigned.
Do I need to have a PIN number?
For security reasons, all accounts are issued with a mandatory PIN.
Is there a record kept of my PIN(s)?
No, there is no record kept of your PIN.
